7 care homes and 2 supported housing facilities
The organisation has 7 care homes and two supported housing facilities. All homes are based in North London in postcodes of N13, N14, N21, and EN1. All homes are within a short distance of the community and from one another. They are all small homes with a maximum number of 10 clients or less to ensure that there is an ongoing interaction between staff and clients and positive support is provided.
General Information:
The care homes are registered to accommodate both males and females over the age of 18 years. All homes are owned and managed by the same service providers. These homes are small units with up to only 10 clients. That enables us to fulfil our care concept with the personal, family-style contact and the care necessary for each individual.
Within each home is a communal lounge with soft furnishings and a television. All bedrooms have a table and a chair with a personal television. If an additional comfortable chair is needed in the bedrooms, this will be supplied to the satisfaction of the client. At the Southgate home and the 4 & 6 Compton Road homes there are separate lounge areas at the bottom of the rear garden in addition to the lounge in the main building. All homes have spacious gardens furnished with garden furniture.
All homes have easy access to public transport, local shops, cafes, hair and beauty salons, libraries, parks, home registered general practitioners, and home registered pharmacies. All the homes are within easy commuting distance. Therefore, clients and tenants have the opportunity of interacting with others in other locations.
The care homes are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. While our supported housing has floating staff according to each tenant’s needs.
In addition, the organisation has Supported Housing homes, where clients who do not require any support with personal care and are able to manage most of their support needs but yet require some support before they move on to living independently. The two supported housing units are only for clients who have received support in our care homes.
